Hol vannak a fizikai tudás határai?
Rorbert Kroó, physicist and Secretary General of HAS, was seeking an answer to the question of where the limits of physical knowledge are. He described physics as the basic and all-encompassing effort to describe nature. New findings have broadened the scope of physical knowledge, and this has led to a shift in the structure of traditional big sciences. As a result, a number of new disciplines such as molecular biology, quantum chemistry, astrophysics and cosmology were born. Physics became capable of accuracy in measurements that was unthinkable before, so it is most probable that the developments will evolve in the future. Yet, some basic theoretical boundaries cannot be overridden.
