Magfúzió- energiaforrás a jövőnek
In order to replace oil- and coal-based energy production, the developed world is seeking solutions in many branches of science. The reason fusion-based atomic energy offers an attractive alternative is because it dismantles the most important argument brought against atomic energy in that it does not produce radioactive waste. In fusion technology, the use of plasma containing electrically charged particles “steals” the sun’s energy and brings it to earth. Today, this procedure makes production of fusion energy a reality that is closer than you might think. Lecturer Sándor Zoletnik is a contributor to ITER, the European nuclear fusion reactor development programme.
