A térképtől a térinformatikáig

Encompass reports with a special edition, in which we find out how we navigated from the use of maps to GPS, the Global Positioning System. We also shed light on how spatial informatics is linked to the work of local governments and the reason for the popularity and widespread use of GPS over GIS, the Geogaphical Information System. The lecture is given by Béla Márkus, Dean of the University of West Hungary.
