Bő évszázadon át a tudományosság és modern gondolkodás szinonimája volt az evolúcióelmélet elfogadása. Most mintha gond lenne ezzel, hiszen pl. az Egyesült Államokban egyre erősebb a rivális elmélet, az intelligens tervezés, illetve a kreacionalizmus térnyerése, már az oktatásban is. Ez vajon tudományos átrendeződés, vagy ideológiai hullám?
